Rain happens more often between October and March because those are the summer months in the rainforest. During those times, it is also warmer, which actually causes the rain, making it so that water evaporates more, therefore making clouds heavier and making it rain more often. The trees and animals in the rainforests of Queensland are very adaptive, living on the coast. The canopy is also well adapted to the salt in the water and wind. The placement of the rainforest is very unique, being between the coast and The Great Dividing Range.
